This device works like any dripper but also features an innovative twist shut-off filter that allows you to keep the slurry from draining until you’re ready for it too. This provides you with the ability to brew more immersion-like coffee.

Basic Brewista Smart Brew Instructions:

• Grind 20g of coffee in a medium setting and place in the paper filter.
• Pour 40ml of hot water over the grounds to start the bloom.
• After thirty seconds, pour the remaining 290ml in slow, concentric circles.
• When the coffee drains, pour and enjoy.

The flat bottom encourages more coffee-water contact to bring you a more balanced and well-rounded brew. The skirted base keeps the Smart Brew situated securely on any server or mug.

A quick rinse under warm running water is suitable for most days, but simply disassemble the two pieces and throw them in the dishwasher when it's time for a deeper clean.
